Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at young age of fourteen. As well as BJJ classes, she also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. When she was 18 years old, Ladd had her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd had an amazing 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent right in the first round. Ladd went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia was defeated by Aspen in a unanimous vote. It left a blemish on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd bounced back from the defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record up to 8-1. Aspen began her career in 2015after signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her, securing a first-round TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's first bout in the Bantamweight division. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability defeated McGill as she managed to finish her in the third round by TKO (elbows as well as punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen was a dominant Hoy and finished her in the second round via TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the final fight in the organization. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round later in the second. She remained dominant, and won an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd took on Evinger by a punch in the first round and was awarded the Performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was her first fight that she's had in a major way. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous victory, as well as her Fight of the Night award came to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds which ended the streak of winning. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya after the third round in UFC in ESPN 7. In a last-minute substitute to her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was lost by unanimous decision.
