Kat Dennings, born Katherine Victoria Litwack on June 13th 1986 at Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania was the firstborn child of Ellen and Gerald Dennings. Ellen Dennings served as her mom and a speech therapist, as Gerald was her father, and was a professor at the college. Dennings is the youngest of five kids and was brought up in a Jewish family. Dennings was homeschooled and only short time in traditional school. The decision to go homeschooled was made because she hoped to become an actress from a very young age. She was able finish her high school education when she was fourteen years old. Already at age nine, she started to act in commercials. She moved to Los Angeles with her family following high school in order to study acting. Kat Dennings began her auditions under this name. Kat Dennings, who had relocated between LA to LA in 2000 made her debut on the HBO show known as "Sex and the City". Kat Dennings appeared in "Sex and the City" on HBO.
